Warthog announces Conquest 2, E3 trailer online
Warthog has made public that Warthog Texas (previously known as Fever Pitch Studios) is working on a sequel to the space 3D rts Conquest: Frontier Wars of a couple of years back. The title is Conquest 2: The Vyrium Uprising.
The first screenshots are available here for your viewing pleasure. The E3 trailer was also released, Fileprovider gives you the mirrors for it.
Conquest is a real-time strategy game set in the deep reaches of space. The player commands a vast armada of ships, refineries, and research facilities to become the dominant force in the universe.
Gameplay revolves around collecting resources, building a fleet, and expanding to neighbouring star systems.
Conquest offered a mix of Starcraft and Star Trek Armada elements together with some other original details. Hopefully Conquest 2: The Vyrium Uprising will do even better. A releasedate is not yet known. Thanks Blues.
