A while ago we announced that Sony was developing a TV-service for PSP. Today people in Japan can already make use of this service.

With this service it's possible to download e.g. trailers, music and series. This goes smooth and easy, but as always there is a downside.

For each download you will have to pay (there are a few exceptions), and every content DRM security. Because of this you can only watch your files for a limited time, mostly between 5 to 30 days.

You're also obliged to have the 2.60 firmware version installed on your psp.

We'll have to wait to see if and how this service will be modified for the remainder of the world.
