Watching movies through a golden eye?!?
The ancient Nintendo 64 had a launchtitle that was named GoldenEye. This legendary game was probably the first console shooter with decent controls. It was developed by RareWare, a top-class developer back then. I said back then, because the GoldenEye programmers left the company after Perfect Dark to create Free Radical Design (known for TimeSplitters 1 & 2 and Second Sight).
After GoldenEye EA bought the Bondgame-rights, they overwhelmed us with new Bond-titles (Agent Under Fire, NightFire, Everything or Nothing...). Most of these games were decent but none even came close to Rare's masterpiece. With the new GoldenEye: Rogue Agent they are again trying to make the best Bondgame ever, athough it has NOTHING to do with the original nor the film.
Whether it will turn out allright, we don't know, but the new trailer made us enthousiastic.
