Weekend summary
Well it seems that after the dust has settled, Duke Nukem Forever is still dead in the water and the team has said their goodbye's.
It remains is a real shame but I'm still rooting for some decent publisher and studio to pick up the game and critical parts of the team if possible. In the meantime you can still enjoy this leaked 'trailer' to soften the blow.
There was however some good news to be found this weekend as one of those other vaporware titles, Beyond Good & Evil 2, seems to have surfaced according to Kotaku. The successor to the 2003 game Beyond Good And Evil, sadly a much too underrated title, had fallen from the face of the earth after its 2008 announcement.
In any case, the trailer is looking very slick.

Over at Codemasters headquarters they decided to kick-start their weekend by releasing a new trailer for their all terrain and all vehicle racer FUEL and it must be said: If those trailers don't give you the urge to spank some metal horses, you must be dead inside.
That was about all this weekend but I guess that's what one can expect from the weekend of weekends for sci-fi lovers with Star Trek XI doing some damage at the box office.
