This year's QuakeCon (call it heaven on earth for fans of id games) will feature the following major elements according to id Software:

* Get a first look at QUAKE 4 multiplayer gameplay
* Get the latest details on Enemy Territory: QUAKE WARS
* Go to two over-the-top, wild parties
* Check out the $150,000 Nvidia Championships at QuakeCon
* Meet Jon Farhat, visual effects supervisor, DOOM feature film
* Attend the popular overclocking workshop sponsored by HardOCPAnd also a few surprises apparently (perhaps the showing of the new IP id is working on?). Sounds cool enough for anyone who has registered and is able to get to the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center.
