What will you be in the Pacific Assault

Posted on Sunday, 13 June 2004 by FroFro, source: Fragland
Ed moore, the multiplayer designer of Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault gave away some information on some of the classes. That's right, this game works with classes, unlike Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, where you had to choose a side and join the fight. Because of these classes, you have to work as a team.

Yes, we are doing 4 classes, for now. The Japanese equivalents are:
1. Heitai ("soldier"/Infantry)
2. Kangohei ("medic"/Corpsman)
3. Kosakuhei ("engineer"/Combat Engineer)
4. Shichuhei ("supply soldier"/Ammo Tech)

The soldier is the strongest, he has the most health, and he can fire with almost every weapon, a medic is able to heal and isn't that bad with a gun either. An engineer takes care of the explosives and mines, and the supply soldier runs behind this group to carry the weapons and explosives.

Pfff, classes that sucks. I always liked these multiplayers because you could work alone. I think they should have stayed with their traditional way (arcade) of playing and that does not include teamwork in that way.
