While we wait for the release of Battlefield 2: Euro Forces and the accompanying 1.21 patch, EA Games has made some time to give us the details of the booster pack.

This is what we may expect:

Play as the all-new Euro Force Army, with a full arsenal of the latest technology and multiple soldier classes including Assault, Sniper, Special Ops, Combat Engineer and Combat Support units.

# 3 new maps, from armor battles in the Operation Smoke Screen to close-quaters mayhem around the Great Wall.

# 4 new vehicles, including a battle tank and an attack chopper, provide a complete Euro set for air and ground battles.

# New weapons, one for each of the classes, including new rifles and a new anti-tank gun.

At the first sight, it looks like the expansion pack doesn't contain much novelties. On the other hand, it will be available for a low price.

If Electronic Arts does the right thing by spreading the upgrades this way, is the question. A credit card is necessary for the on-line purchase. Something not everyone possesses.

I know a handful of players under 18 who's parents won't let them use a credit card for online purchase and these players aren't happy about it, to say the least...and to make it worse they can't avoid "seeing" their adult teammates go into games playing the new booster pack once it's released...

Boycott the moneysuckers at EA! You get more content from a free mod than this junk. Use some of that consumer-brain for once and think; this ain't worth your money and should be a free product, boycott the suckers at EA!

True, an as long as mods are not allowed on ranked servers you don't have that many options if you wanna continue playing ranked.. Personally, I think they could trash the whole ranking system and I couldn't care less. I have never played for points anyway.
