Widescreen DS rumours nonsense according to Nintendo

Nintendo has told Eurogamer that the rumours about a Nintendo DS redesign with widescreen are wrong. "Pure gossip and speculation" is their answer.

Website Aeropause continued earlier rumours about a possible new version of the handheld that would be announced at E3.

It is of course about three years ago that the Lite was released, so the idea of a new version is not that illogical.
