The Wii Balance Board is an entirely new piece of hardware for the Nintendo Wii and was announced at E3. The board is immediately associated with Wii Fit, but Nintendo stated that third-party developers show interest in the device and even the medical sector is thinking of using it in rehabilitation. In which games and how the board is going to be used is still unknown.
