Nintendo has finally released some new information on Wii Music, the game which has been announced over two years ago along with the console. We've had some demonstrations, but very little news since. Now however, it was announced that the game will contain fifty-something instruments (among others the piano, guitar, sax and drums) and it will even make use of the balance board.

Furthermore, a new sports game called Wii Sports Resort was also mentioned. The game will be a collection of sports that can be found on or near the beach. This latest game will make use of the recently announced Wii Motion Plus add-on for improved motion detection. Expect it to be released during spring of 2009.
