Wii doesn't offer enough exercise
Britse scientists examined whether Wii Sports really has any effect on the body and came to the conclusion that the results are trivial.
A couple of boys and girls aged 13 to 15, played an hour with the Wii and an hour with the Xbox360. The Wii made them burn 60 kcal extra, which means they spend 2% more energy than when playing with the 'inactive' Xbox360.
However, they did noted some positive things too: this kind of games can contribute to weight management and it teaches kids that exercising can be fun.

New generation computer games stimulated positive activity behaviours - the children were on their feet and they moved in all directions.
