Already several rumours have been popping up here and there about an upcoming price cut for the Nintendo Wii. Our colleagues at Nintendojo claim to have received confirmation.

The website is claiming that as of September 27th the price will drop to $199 and apparently is confirmed on a retailer meeting where a crew member of Nintendojo was also present.

Nothing is known about a European price cut but we tend to also consider above message still as rumour until we hear something official.
