Wiiware launched in March?
GamesIndustry.biz reported that according to the developers of Engine Software, Nintendo's Wiiware will go online in March. Ruud van de Moosdyk of Engine Software slipped this information with the announcement of their first Wiiware game: Project Bang.
Wiiware was announced last summer by Nintendo as a new download service, where small independent developers could make cheap and originals games and offer them to the community.
"Nintendo's WiiWare service is a new downloadable game content service that is scheduled to be launched in March 2008. We are very excited about our first game for the WiiWare service. When we acquired our official Wii licence last year we already had several concepts written up that would be ideal for WiiWare, and Project Bang is the first to actually go into production"
