People get fed up when companies playing this kind of virtual war with each other. 360 will go the way of the Dreamcast if MS are not careful.

They would have had a full year head start on Sony but the software line up thus far has been truly lack lustre imo. Nearly every game has slowdown of some sort. The trouble is with 360 it was launched whilst the older machines still had a lot to give.
Dreamcast was a next gen machine and it struggled against the original Playstation and when PS2 was released it was already over for the DC.

This could happen to 360 because Jo public may start looking at this machine as last generation. Microsoft need to get quality software out, and out soon, if they play the waiting game with games that are finished they could lose out big time. Especially if they think that one or two games being held back to scupper the PS3 release will make a difference to Sony if they do they have lost the plot.

They need to prove now that the 360 is an amazing machine not wait until PS3 is released in the hope that people will choose to buy a 360 because of a handful games. Why release early if you are going to hold back quality software. This kind of strategy is pure madness imo. People who already own the 360 deserve better imo. If they lose the next gen war it is because of stupidity and nothing else.
