Will Riddick come back on PS3 and Xbox360?

Rumour has it that a game starring Riddick will be brought to the Xbox360 and PlayStation 3. It wouldn't be a new game, but a port from the good old Xbox-hit.

According to the chaps at US Game Informer mag, a remake of Starbreeze studios' excellent Xbox shooter Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay is headed to PS3 and Xbox 360.

The graphics would be redone (duh) and they would also add a new character to the game.
To prevent people from calling it a pure ripoff?

I wouldn't mind at all. I never played the xbox version so I would be more than happy to play a PS3 remake if the graphics are up to standards

it's not "just" updated gfx, but also new singleplayer content, new online multiplayer capabilities, and developers commentary mode.
