WoW naming policy unveiled
Over at the official World of Warcraft Forums is a post by one of the devs who has put up the naming convention for WoW. Apparantly things are not going to be quite as easy as some people may have hoped and Blizzard is being enormously strict about the names :

We have gone to great lengths to ensure that your experience in the world of Azeroth is as enjoyable and immersive as possible. However, this immersion can be quickly broken when you see the stately Tauren Hunter named “IOwnsU” or the imposing Night Elf Druid “ErnestBorgnine.”
I can see their point... although I must confess that I find it a bit over the top.We have gone to great lengths to ensure that your experience in the world of Azeroth is as enjoyable and immersive as possible.
