Wolfenstein gets multiplayer details
Endrant Studios found that while we wait for the release of the new Wolfenstein on 21st August (PC, Xbox 360, PS3), they could share some more info about the multiplayer modes.
The game will again feature classes (this time the Soldier, Medic en Engineer), but the difference is that they'll be able to use supernatural powers. These you can unlock through a persistent system of your character which will be usable in both single- as multiplayer adventures.
In the MP you won't be able to use all of the upgrades, since you have to choose which specific ones you'll use. Some examples are stronger ammunition, faster reloadtimes, stronger recovery of health or better accuracy. All these powers are also limited to specific classes and the more powerful ones you will only be able to use in the singleplayer.
Besides the usual Deathmatch and its team version, you'll also get modes called Objectives and Stopwatch. The last one is based upon the previous one in that your team has to complete a specific objective as fast as possible. In the next round the teams are turned around and which ever team reaches its goal the fastest winst the game. For all these modes there are eight specifically designed maps.
In about three weeks we'll be able to play it , perfect to end your summer vacation!
