World in Conflict not coming to consoles
With the merger between Activision and Vivendi, several games got the boot and World In Conflict was one of them, although luckily it got picked up by Ubi Soft Entertainment.
With the move towards the French publisher, focus moved towards World In Conflict: Soviet Assault which would be released on PC, X360 and PS3. However, it seems Ubisoft has other plans than Sierra had back in the days as console versions are no longer planned:

When contacted for an update on the console release, Ubisoft provided this statement, "World of Conflict: Soviet Assault will be released for the PC later this month. A console version of World in Conflict is not planned for release at this time."
