In the next update of World of Warcraft for Macintosh, Blizzard will add a new feature, called video-capturing.

In the release notes for version 2.2.0, you can read this:

Mac Movie Capture: the Mac client can now capture in-game video to QuickTime movie files using a configurable choice of codec (H.264, Motion JPEG, or Pixlet), resolution, and frame rate. Two new entries have been added to the Key Bindings dialog for start/stop recording and for cancellation of a recording. For more detailed configuration options please see the Mac Options panel in game.

It is not known whether pc users may expect such an update.

Thats nice, but most people interested in doing any video capture for WoW usually figure out how to get it IE: Fraps or game cam. I'm sure Macs have some other video capturing equivalent.

Recording using any third-party will consume a lot more memory than that of the built in version for macs.
