World of Warcraft is a threat to porn!

Posted on Wednesday, 20 January 2010 by Speed, source: TheDailyBeast
Anti-porn activists can go back to their usual business now as it seems that one of the top threats to porn are online videogames!

During CES in Las Vegas, the city also hosted the Adult Entertainment Expo and The Daily Beast took the opportunity to have a chat with the babes to find out what are the top threats of porn these days. Seems games like World of Warcraft are amongst those.
“It is all entertainment that you are getting involved in the same way as porn is entertainment,” said Aiden. “I won’t say everyone, but a lot of people in the industry play videogames. The games are competition for porn. Fans jerk off to porn and are done, but you can keep playing a game.

Aiden (no last name, this is porn!) should know, as he is also Webmaster for his wife Belladonna’s successful site EnterBelladonna.com. As for his online gaming, his wife wants him to cut back. “Yeah, my wife and I occasionally argue about the amount of time I spend playing.”
To be honest, I find his logic a bit strange. If you see videogames as "competition" or "a threat", then why wouldn't normal movies be a threat as well?

Because normal movies end just like porn. You cannot keep watching them.

With normal movies, you only have to compete for that singular slot of time. With games, you have to compete with a potentially unlimited slot of time.

Just a thought...
