Upper Deck has announced they will make a table top version of World of Warcraft. You will have a board and little, paint it yourself, figures to transport yourself to Azeroth without the need of a pc.

It will be the first time Upper Deck - which makes the trading card game - has entered the market, which has been dominated by Games Workshop for so long.

Which should result in a little more rivalry between World of Warcraft and upcoming EA Mythic game Warhammer Online.

Studio McVey will make the characters in miniature and Leeroy Jenkins and Thrall are confirmed already, amongst others. The rules of the game are comparable to those of the MMORPG, with a health bar, abilities and dungeon raids of five persons.
