Writer Halo over to Microsoft
This is what he had to say in the Weekly Update of Bungie:
"I am leaving you. I am off to work more closely with Microsoft on the Halo franchise, so I shan't be too far away, but I wanted to take this last chance, appropriately enough in a Weekly Update, to tell you a very fond thanks,"
He also added that he left with a good feeling, because Bungie has some pretty cool things coming, of which we know nothing about.O'Connor was the lead writer and supervised everything, from dialogues and characters to the sound bites used during fights and the overall scripts. Over at Microsoft he'll be occupied with Halo Wars, the rts game set in the Halo universe, and the relatively unknown Halo Peter Jackson projects.
