X360 Arcade gets price increase in UK
In a rather unexpected move, Microsoft seems to have raised the price of the Xbox360 Arcade in the UK.
Several UK retailers have confirmed to Eurogamer that as of September 1st, the Arcade units will be sold at £159.99 which is a £30 increase and to make things worse, the XBLA game bundle won't be included anymore either. Also several accessories will see price increases by one or two UK pounds.
The rest of the world shouldn't worry too much though, as it seems the reason for the price increase is the bad exchange rate the pound has these days compared to the Euro.
I guess all those British kids now wished the UK would have joined the euro all those years ago ;)
