X360 Review: Lost Planet: Extreme Condition
It's winter so Capcom must have thought it would be a great idea to make a game that's set on an icy cold planet.

I totaly agree with you on that, the multiplayer sucks big time but the single player game is stunning, i played through the single player on normal difficulty and then again on hard and really enjoyed it both times.
It looks stunning and it plays really well but there are a few niggles with the controls, some of the boss battles are jaw dropping and its a sight to behold when the area in front of you is filled with giant bugs battling snow pirates.
If you like a great solid single player game then i highly recomend Lost Planet but if your looking for some multiplayer goodness then stick to GOW or R6V.
POSSIBLE SPOILER BELOW but not that it matters since the story is pretty guff and you will no doubt skip most of the cutscenes since they are all just people talking.
Another great game by Capcom, easily right up there with Dead Rising and just like Dead Rising hopefully a sequel will come along in the not too distant future, although after seeing the end of Lost Planet i cant see how they could make a proper sequel as such, the planet is kind of no longer a lost planet and the condition at the end of the game is no longer extreme.
