XBLA quality to rise according to Greenberg
Chief Aron Greenberg believes this will not result in choosing for safe ports (which will most likely score), but rather in the creation of new and exciting games. Also the bigger maximum-size of the games will improve the capabilities:
"I really don't think we will see that at all, in fact many unique style games typically get stronger reviews because they stand out from the pack," Greenberg told GamesIndustry.biz.

Games scoring a lower than 65% Metacritic, which are older than 6 months and where the download of the trial version results into the player buying the full version is under 6% will probably be kicked from the list pretty soon!
"What we are saying is that our focus with Xbox Live Arcade is going to be on quality over quantity," added Greenberg.

All these rules should improve the experience at the user's end. Do notice, games developed by the community with the XNA-interface will NOT have to worry about these "laws".
