XBox BF1942 canned

Gamespot has word that the XBox version of EA's Battlefield 1942 has been cancelled. Here's the soup:

The company canceled the game so the development team could focus all its efforts on the upcoming expansion for the PC version of Battlefield 1942, The Road to Rome.

I think it's just put 'on hold' because they can't/won't yet fully support Xbox Live

It's a game focussed on multiplayer gaming. How do you expect the Xbox (live) to compete with broadband, 101 keys and a mouse ? Unless Xbox live includes all that .. I wouldn't know coz I don't really like that oversized toaster. I guess it must at least come with a keyboard and mouse otherwise BF1942 just wouldn't be playable imho.
