Xbox 360 fall update preview opened, twitface your ass off

This fall there will be a major new dashboard update for the Xbox and once again the preview applications have been opened allowing some (un)lucky users to beta test and play around with the new features before anyone else does.

Microsoft also told Shacknews the following:

"We're looking for several thousand participants, so your chances of making it in are good," explained Microsoft, though it also cautioned "priority will be given to [Xbox Live] Gold members in the selection process."

Nex to Twitter and Facebook functionalities, the fall update will also contain Last.Fm streaming and 'instant-on' 1080p streams via Zune Marketplace but it's currently not known if those will be in the beta.
