Kotaku got word from Microsoft that last Friday's price cuts on all 360 models have been a huge success.
Some retailers show an increase from 100% up to 600% in some cases in the weekend following the announcement.
True, the numbers come from Microsoft themselves so they might be bloated a bit, sure thing is that price cuts usually have that effect on us consuming people.
No word on counteractions from Nintendo or Sony.
I think the holiday season is going to be a good time to purchase a console if those two do decide to cut prices too.
