Xbox 360 price drop: Canada follows suit

It's not rare to see Ottawa follow the example of Washington / Hollywood. Just like their neighbours south of the border, Microsoft Canada has lowered the price of all Xbox 360 consoles.

The price drop coincides with the September launch of Madden NFL 08, still the best selling sports game in North America.

These are the new prices:
  • Core - CAD299.99 (€207)
  • Premium - CAD399.99 (€276)
  • Elite - CAD499.99 (€345)
Let's hope these price drops turn out to be pandemic.
