Xbox 360 sold 18 million times

John Schappert, who was Microsofts keynote speaker at GDC, says that the Xbox 360 has been sold over 18 million times worldwide.

"I think that we've sold 18 million, the last time I've checked. 18 million hardware units worldwide,"

Schappert also gave to understand that a Blu-Ray drive or add-on for the Xbox 360 is not likely to appear. One of the reasons might be that they didn't sell many HD-DVD drives in the past.

On a brighter note, Microsoft decided that they'll be inveting more money in producing and supporting Xbox Live Arcade games.
