Xbox LIVE becomes more expensive

While Nintendo drops some prices, Microsoft does the opposite. I guess they call that marketing strategy?
In any case, those living in the US, Canada, UK or Mexico will see their Xbox LIVE subscription rise in price as of November 1st. Or they can cancel it altogether of course ;)
The word from Major Nelson:
- US: +$2 for 1 Month, +$5 for 3 months, +$10 for 12 months
- UK: +£1 for 1 month
- Canada: +$1 CAD for 1 month
- Mexico: +100 Pesos for 1 month
Mainland Europe: not affected (yet)

I wanted to let you know that as of November 1, 2010 we are increasing the price of an Xbox LIVE for some members. This price increase only affects Xbox LIVE Members in Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom or the United States.
Pricing changes are as follows:- US: +$2 for 1 Month, +$5 for 3 months, +$10 for 12 months
- UK: +£1 for 1 month
- Canada: +$1 CAD for 1 month
- Mexico: +100 Pesos for 1 month
Mainland Europe: not affected (yet)
