Microsoft will be shutting down Xbox Live for about 14 hours on Tuesday, March 27th. Major Nelson says we shouldn't be expecting something new, as the downtime is strictly for maintenance purposes.

The next real upgrade is planned for this spring.

So if you still want to play online that day, you'd better get up early, or you can play later that evening.
