Next year - presumably August - the Xbox360 will get a new motherboard, codenamed Jasper. The most obvious change is the use of a new ATI graphical accelerator, made according to the new 65 nanometer procedure.

Current Xbox360 owners shouldn't be pissed about that though since the "new" Xbox360 does not have any obvious advantages above the old one. The motherboard will be smaller, produce less heat and maybe lead to a pricedrop of the console.
