...although there is a bit of a catch. The Xbox-games have to be recompiled, so it will be pretty possible that only the best top-games earn it to be converted to be playable on Xbox360. Even worse is the fact that there's a chance you'll have to buy the games again.

Why al these trouble? Simple; the previous Xbox had Nvidia who took care of the graphical stuff, while that job is taken over by ATI. Next to that, the Intel processor is replaced by an IBM PowerPC.

You have to admit that Nintendo and Sony have a little advantage here because their next console will play all the games from the previous generations without any problems.
