Silence on set ! Lights ... Camera ... ACTION !Lets be honest here, a lot of gamers are way too ugly to be featured in a movie (unless it's in Nightmare on Elm street part XIV). But now Activision is giving you the chance to be part of The Movies - the highly anticipated movies-sim from Peter Molyneux' Lionhead Studios. How ? Through a competition.
What do you have to do to be immortalised in The Movies ? Well, you will have to get creative and design a logo for one of the motion picture studios, that can be used in the game.
The idea is that every studio in The Movies game has its own, easily recognised logo, which appears at the start of its movies and on much of its property. Each studio is personalised according to the desires of the boss and the logo is one of the biggest ways this is carried out. Studio logos appear on crew clothing, the water tower, flags, your personalised homepage when uploading movies and importantly, the credits for every film you make. It's a big part of the customisable nature of the game.
So these movie studio logos get everywhere and are chosen from a selection by the player. This major competition is therefore to provide one of the logos the player can opt to use.
It is very important that the logo is 100% textless - no names or letters may be used. Your artwork should be 256x256 pixels and in a tga, tiff, png or gif format.
