Yu Suzuki leaves Sega after 28 years
Yu Suzuki, the man who stood at the cradle of Shenmue and Virtua Fighter, has announced he's leaving Sega.
The legendary developer was in service of the company for 28 years but isn't retiring just yet. He wants to devote his time on his own studio, YS NET. Through his new company he wants to put his own personal taste into games.
Suzuki was responsible for games like Out Run, After Burner II, Virtua Fighter, Datyona USA, Virtua Cop and Shenmue. Or in short: just about every big title coming from Sega.
