Massive words from MAG dev

Zipper Interactive senior designer Scott Rudi, who's been working on the PS3-exclusive MAG - Massive Action Game, said in an interview he doubts very much that a game like this would be possible on other (console) platforms.

“We're using so many architectural features unique to the PS3, like the Cell system, that I would be hard pressed to – and I'm not a programmer or anything – but from what I've been hearing, this is what the PS3 can do and few others can.”

“As a game player I'd love to see someone else try.”

Well Scott, it seems that you may very well get your wish granted as it seems there's a MMORPG coming to X360

why is this (and maybe gran turismo 5) the only game that has pushed the playstation to its limits. The main difference with the ps3 and the 360 is that the ps3 has intention to have bigger better games than ever. when most games are sticking to short if not no campaigns and mostly no co-op or online multiplayer campaigns either. id love to see more games with either multi campaigns or a lot longer campaigns for the ps3. RE4 for the ps2 had longer campaigns than almost all titles for the ps3 and that was last gen!

Note to the author, MAG is not a MMORPG, its an MMOFPS. RPG fighting is usually turn based, FPS is live real-time action.
