First trailer of new Resident Evil movie

Sony Pictures has released the first trailer of their new movie that is based upon the Resident Evil games. The movie will carry the name Resident Evil: Degeneration and will not have any link with the three current movies that are based upon the franchise.

The new one will be situated after Resident Evil 4 and the main characters will be Claire and Chris Redfield. What completely seperates itself from its predecessors is that it will be a full CGI production. This means that everything will be done by computer. Think about Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within or Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children as an example.

This is a long awaited movie indeed. They should have done all the three current movies this way. Then they could have controlled all the aspects, like the characters appearance and such. And nice to see that they actually follow the storyline, or thereof - the continuation.

it will be good to see if anything from the Umbrella Chronicles game will be mentioned. It did have a further look into chris's (and jill's) future struggles against umbrella. either way though this should be good.
