Haze vs IGN

Haze writer Rob Yescombe is not happy with IGN's review of Haze, since they gave the game a painful 4.5 on 10.

The game, which sadly only appears on the PS3 after been cancelled for the Xbox 360 and PC had received high scores from the Italian Playstation Magazine (Not really unbiased...) and Famitsu.

"Haze has had mixed reviews, but even GoldenEye got a 4/10 when it first came out. With a 9/10 in the Italian PSM, and an extremely positive review in Famitsu, we're looking forward to people playing Haze and making a judgement for themselves."

uh oh . . he's not going to like the Gamespot review either . . 6/10.

I was looking forward to this aswell, then i played the demo they released a couple of weeks back and i can totaly believe the crap review scores if the demo was anything to go by, it looks crap and plays crap and pretty much is crap, textures are horrible and the enviroment i played felt tiny with rocks all around you stopping you from going anywhere, it was supposed to be out in november so imagine how bad it was back then lol

Just like Resistance and Uncharted it got hyped outragously purely because there is simply sod all to play or buy on the PS3 at the mo, anything slightly resembling what could be a decent game comes along on the PS3 and it gets hyped to the max and so far all that have had that treatment have been pretty crap or atleast just average games with nothing to shout about.

Highly unlikely but i just keep my fingers crossed that MGS4 does'nt fall to the same fate, the PS3 needs a massive AAA title that does'nt suck.
