PS2 games soon available for download?

More good news from the Playstation 3 front. According to an anonymous source, Sony is going to show a new Playstation store on the upcoming E3. The biggest addition would be the option to download and play Playstation 2 games. The chance is quite high that this rumor is going to become a fact if you watch the screenshot.

I was speaking to a friend last night on MSN who works at Sony London. I was actually asking him about the new XMB update, and if he knows when it'll be out. He told me it was scheduled to launch E3, but more interesting was his info on a new Playstation 2 Store that'll also be announced at E3 too! Basically Sonys answer to Xbox Originals. He even sent me a pic, ive uploaded it here:

Downside is that the update would only be available in the late summer, but a nice thing to hear is that Europe would be the first to receive it :)
