That some gamers have no problem in throwing down some stacks of cash for a Blizzard related item is no surprise, but that someone wants to pay over 500 euros for a beta key is still amazing.

The code not only gives you access to the beta of the newest expansion of World of Warcraft, but also allows you to get a new diablo pet called Tyrael which you can run around with ingame.

Eurogamer noticed that on Ebay, someone sold his/her key for 652 euros. Still it seems that this is an exception since they usually sell for 'only' 225-450 euros.

If you still want to participate in the beta, but don't want to pay a couple of hundred euros for it, you can always fill in an application on the official website and hope that you'll be chosen :).
