Warhammer Online open beta next month

Mythic Entertainment shared with us today that the open beta test of their MMORPG Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will start on September 7th.

The developers want to test the serverload, but not everyone will be able to participate. People who are already in the closed beta will automatically get a key. Persons that have purchased the Collector's Edition or pre-ordered the normal version will also get access to the beta.

Warhammer Online is currently been fine tuned by Mtyhic in cooperation with Games Workshop, who created the Warhammer universe as a tabletop game in the eighties. The game is expected in stores on September 18th.

Because it is OPEN to anyone?

There are limited accounts, too many people and it becomes a stress test not a beta.
