More details of GTA IV PC emerge
Rockstar has given more details about several improvements of the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV at the Games Convention.
Gamespy reports that both the Xbox360 controller and keyboard/mouse are supported on the PC and that there are plenty of graphical improvements like bigger draw distances, textures of higher resolution and higher screen resolutions (up to a whopping 2560x1600). A real new feature is the replay mode, on the PC GTA IV will always take the last 30 gameplay seconds into memory so you could rewind, edit, save and even upload you biggest stunts/crashes/deaths/scores through the Rockstar Social Club.
Now, when GTA IV PC was announced there was a mention of 'newly expanded multiplayer'. It seems like Rockstar have improved filters for multiplayer matches (the game uses Games for Windows Live, recently made free for everyone) so you could see the sessions where people only use a certain weapon or game mode. But other than that they remained silent on the multiplayer, Eurogamer did hear that Rockstar is planning on maybe expanding the player count ('only' 16 on consoles) and/or adding actual new game modes.
GTA IV for PC will be released on November 21st in Europe.
