Starcraft 2 due next year?

During the Activate Asia Pacific conference in Auckland New Zealand, Activision has stated that the game will be coming in 2009:
Next year's offerings from Activision Blizzard should include highly anticipated PC strategy title StarCraft II, the sequel to one of the world's most enduringly popular games
Don't take this as marked in stone though, as Blizzard has a tendency to delay games to do some more finetuning.In other news:
