Steve Jobs hates blu-ray

Posted on Wednesday, 15 October 2008 by Speed, source: Engadget
If anyone is still wondering whether Apple believes iTunes is the best thing in the world: yes they do.

At a keynote today, Apple's head honcho Steve Jobs called Blu-ray a "bag of hurt".

Blu-ray is just a bag of hurt. It's great to watch the movies, but the licensing of the tech is so complex, we're waiting till things settle down and Blu-ray takes off in the marketplace." Phil chimed in with "We have the best HD movie and TV options and TV options in iTunes."
Yea Steve, keep believing that everyone in the world finds iTunes the greatest invention since the wheel.

If Apple wasn't so smart in their marketing (especially in the US), I'm sure they would have died about a decade ago.

Apple is still alive because they don't take their own advice. If they did, they would not be using intel chipsets or be in the MP3-player market.
