Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M this Summer

Nintendo Australia today announced that both Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M will arrive on the Nintendo Wii this Summer.

The release for Metroid, created by Tecmo, was already planned for this Summer, but Super Mario Galaxy 2 hadn't received a timeframe yet.

Nintendo's Greg Athurton now also stated that both games were never intended to be released the coming Christmas season, something plenty of gaming press suggested.

What can be expected this Winter is still unknown but we're thinking about Zelda and seeing that tomorrow there's a big Nintendo event in London (expect a report from us) we'll know soon enough.
