Patch arriving alreday on day 1, maybe to give her bigger boobs?
It seems that the day StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty arrives, you'll be downloading a patch for it already.

VG247 spoke with Patrick Garratt who confirmed the day 1 patch:
“We will have a day one patch, a required day one patch,” he said, which will allow the Battle.net team “a little bit more time to sort of get their ducks in a row.”
The game is set for release this year (probably Q2) but no official date has been given yet. Which leads me to the question: why have a day 1 patch and not incorporate that patch in the final version? Is it SO HARD to actually release a FINISHED game these days???

The day 1 patch will probably not be for the singeplayer but for the multi.
There will be no "dead zone" between beta and release for multi and Blizzard is fond of patching their games for balance updates and small glitches/abuses even years after a release.

Trust me, SC2 will be a finished game when it comes to singleplayer. Hell, even this beta runs better than most released games do after being out for multiple months but you can't go around the fact that starcraft (brood war) is still one of the biggest pro gaming games out there (Korea). Blizzard will do anything to overcome any cheese tactics that might ruin the game for the many noobs that will join mp on day one. This patch will be needed to just update the balance tweaks that have been made between gold status and release. I think they also need to take the Bnet revamp out of beta with the release and as they state in the article they will be tweaking and working on Bnet until the very last moment possible.

In any case i prefer a patch at day one for Bnet rather than the service giong down due to hammering of the two million new accounts :)
