Blizzard cuts prices!

Posted on Sunday, 8 January 2012 by Speed, source: Battle.net
Blizzard Entertainment is starting the year with a good intention!

The company has put an update on the Battle.net site, stating they're dropping the price of the expansions for World of Warcraft in Europe:
From today, our latest games are available at retail and on the Blizzard Store at new, permanently low prices. You can now get Wrath of the Lich King for a mere €19.99 and Cataclysm for just €29.99. There’s never been a better time to grab the games you might have missed out on before.
Also Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty has received a price cut and is now available for €39.99.

WOOHOO that's great, apart from the fact I could pick up the likes of Cataclysm for £13, that's under 16 Euros from Amazon as I type this.

of course, certain retailers can always lower their prices. But seeing official list prices reduced is already a got thing, no?

Nope, the prices everywhere have been lower than the current "deal" for over a year. It just means you can buy from the blizzard site cheaper but still not as cheap as anywhere else :)
