id Software says bye bye to ESA

Following their publisher, Activision, id Software has decided to withdraw their membership to the Entertainment Software Association (ESA).
GamePolitics has confirmed through a representative that id, best known for its first-person shooter franchises DOOM and Quake, is no longer a member.
Activision, Vivendi and LucasArts have earlier already announced their departure so the question now remains: who will stay on board and who will be leaving further? It really looks like the ESA is under a lot of pressure at the moment to do something about its image.In other news:
