Next Battlefield coming “next year”
During their latest investor conf call, Electronic Arts didn’t only announce the end of the Medal of Honor franchise, but EA labels president Frank Gibeau also stated that we’ll be seeing a new Battlefield game next year.
The company didn’t elaborate any further other than saying they’re “very excited to show you guys more detail on that coming soon.”
This begs the question: will it be Battlefield 4, Bad Company 3 or something entirely new? And whether it will be PC and next-gen consoles, or if it will still launch on X360 and PS3. And with the demise of Medal of Honor, you can also wonder which shooter they’re planning to rank the charts by the end of THIS year… unless with “next year” they actually mean “next fiscal”.
Lots of questions, very few answers. Hopefully we’ll hear more soon.
